Ein gesunder veganer Eiskakao ist eine herrliche Erfrischung, die ich dir absolut empfehlen kann, perfekt, um an heißen Tagen abzukühlen. Er ist die ideale Alternative zu einem Cold Brew Kaffee, falls du morgens gerne Abwechslung hast oder auf Koffein verzichtest. In Kombination mit der cremigen Basis von Sojamilch und dem intensiven Geschmack von rohem Kakaopulver wird dieses Getränk wirklich besonders. Ich gebe gerne eine Prise Kurkuma, Zimt, Nelken und Kardamom dazu, so bekommt es eine exotische Note, die gleichzeitig einzigartig und wohltuend ist. Es stillt nicht nur meine Lust auf Schokolade, sondern liefert dank der verwendeten Gewürze auch jede Menge Antioxidantien und entzündungshemmende Eigenschaften.

Ursprung von Eiskakao

Cocoa has been enjoyed for thousands of years and funnily enough, the earliest versions weren’t hot at all, they were cold. The Mayans and Aztecs prepared cocoa drinks by mixing ground cacao with water, spices and sometimes a bit of sweetness, serving it chilled and frothy. So when we sip a glass of cold vegan cocoa today, we’re actually echoing a tradition that goes way back in history. Of course, our version is creamier and a little sweeter but I love knowing that this cozy drink has roots as a refreshing treat long before hot chocolate became the norm.

  • Raw Cocoa
  • Soy Milk (or any other plant-milk you enjoy)
  • Turmeric
  • Zimt
  • Cardamom

Zutaten
  

  • 300 ml/ 1 1/4 cups Sojamilch
  • 1 TL Sirup e.g.: maple, agave, rice or date
  • 2 TL Rohkakao
  • 1/8 TL Nelke
  • 1/8 TL Zimt
  • 1/8 TL Kardamom
  • 1/8 TL Kurkuma

Anleitung
 

  • Bereiten Sie alle oben aufgeführten Zutaten vor.
  • Mischen Sie nun alle Gewürze und die Zuckeralternative in ein paar Esslöffeln heißem Wasser, damit sie sich gut auflösen und Sie keine seltsamen Stücke oder Klumpen in Ihrem Getränk haben.
  • Lastly, stir in the milk of your choice until everything is well combined!
  • Enjoy your chilly drink and top it with some whipped cream or coffee spice blend/cocoa blend.
